COLUMBUS — The Mississippi Department of Transportation says drivers can expect delays because of improvements being made on Mississippi Highway 50 in Lowndes County.
WTVA-TV reports crews will be working on the highway’s shoulder between Mississippi Highway 12 and the Alabama state line.

The work is expected to be completed by 4 p.m. on Friday.
