The Starkville Police Department arrested a local man early Wednesday after reports of a peeping tom originated from Pecan Acres.
Officers were dispatched to the area about 12:30 a.m. and apprehended a suspect based upon a description given to responders.
Melvin Bishop, 37, of 1458 Christy Lane, was charged with voyeurism, processed and transported to Oktibbeha County Jail.
He appeared in Starkville Municipal Court later that same day, where his bond was set at $10,000.
