A Hamilton woman has been arrested and charged with embezzling from the Walmart in Columbus.
Amber Danielle Logan, 38, was arrested by the Columbus Police Department on Monday and charged with one count of embezzlement after she was allegedly captured on video stealing money from various registers in the store on multiple occasions, according to Latasha Key with CPD.
Key said an undetermined amount of money was taken.
Walmart’s loss prevention department investigated and contacted CPD. Logan was arrested at the retail store and transported to the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center.
She received a bond of $2,500. Her court date is set for May 7.
