John Christopher “Chris” Morrow, AIA of Pryor & Morrow Architects and Engineers, has been appointed to the Mississippi State Board of Architecture by Governor Phil Bryant.
The Board of Architecture protects the health, safety and welfare of the public through the regulation of professions of architecture, landscape architecture and interior design. Those licensed or certified by the Board are held to a high standard of care in regard to technical skills and knowledge, responsible control and management of projects, and professional ethics.
The Board consists of five architects as members, along with five landscape architect committee members and five certified interior designer committee members. All members are appointed for five-year terms. Members of the Board and the Committees essentially serve as volunteer public servants. They work tirelessly to fulfill their mandate of public protection within their professions.
