The following arrests were reported by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department and the Columbus Police Department:
Stephen Bernard Brown, 48, of 304 Taylor Street, was arrested on Taylor Street by CPD June 2 and charged with driving under the influence, no drivers license and violation of probation. His court date is scheduled for June 26.
Daniel Ray King Jr., 25, of 823 South Perkins Road, was arrested at the fair on Highway 69 by LCSO June 1 and charged with public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and violation of probation. His court date is scheduled for June 25.
Jerry Jermaine Payne, 35, of 523 16th St. SW in Birmingham, Ala., was arrested on Hospital Drive by CPD May 31 and charged with shoplifting-3rd offense of $250 or more.
Robert Sanders, 56, of 410 Pickensville Road, was arrested at 11th St. S. and College St., by CPD May 31 and charged with driving under the influence-1st offense and receiving stolen property. His court date is scheduled for June 26.
Michael Anthony Standifer, 43, of 125 Robinwood Circle, was arrested on Highway 182 W., by MHP June 2 and charged with driving under the influence-3rd offense, careless driving, driving with a suspended drivers license-suspended due to prior DUI, no insurance and two seatbelt violations. His court date is scheduled for June 11.
Antwoine Pierre Tate, 30, of 5293 Nashville Ferry Road E., was arrested at 111 Mason Drive by LCSO May 31 and charged with domestic violence and violation of probation. His court date is scheduled for June 18.
