Shots fired
The Columbus Police Department is investigating two separate incidents in which shots were illegally discharged within the city limits. Both incidents occurred around midnight Sunday.
The CPD confirmed four to five shots were fired at the Heidiho Club, located at 106 22nd St.
No injuries were reported from the shooting, but a club patron allegedly was hit in the head with a bottle. The patron was taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, but no further information was released.
The second shooting happened at about 12:55 a.m. at 1900 Short Main Street. Several shots were fired on the east side of Ali’s store. Witnesses said the shots came from passengers inside a white, four-door Chevrolet Imapala. Several shell casings were found at the scene. No injuries were reported.

The CPD also is investigating the weekend burglary of a shed. Officers responded to a call at 469 Summer Haven. Dennis Harris reported seeing a spare tire propped against the door of his shed. Upon investigation, he discovered four tires and rims were missing. The missing items were valued at $2,500.
