Local attorney and former district attorney candidate Steve Wallace has been granted a continuance in Lowndes County Justice Court until July 31. His original court date was scheduled for April 10.
Wallace, 60, was charged with sale of beer without a permit, possession of alcoholic beverages with intent to sell without a permit and 10 counts of violation of the Social Host law. The charges stemmed from an April 1 investigation at Wallace’s home, at 600 Alridge Rd. in Caledonia, during a party held after the Caledonia High School prom.
Ranging in ages from 17 to 19, 10 others were charged with possession of beer by a minor.
Wallace is represented by Carrie Jordan of Columbus.
