According to police, a woman was stabbed Friday night in South Columbus.
The incident occurred at 901 11th St. S. at around 8 p.m. According to Assistant Police Chief Joe Johnson, the victim was stabbed one time “in the head area.”
She was transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Johnson said, and her condition “is not life threatening.”
Columbus police are currently investigating the incident.
No arrests have been made and police have not found a weapon. The victim’s name has not been released.
