Three people were arrested Tuesday night for causing a disturbance at the Tobacco Warehouse, and one was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Columbus police responded to a disturbance at the business, located at 2217 Highway 45 N., at around 7:40 p.m.
Arrested were: Ivy Forrester Womack, 20, of 3620 Nash Road; Cody Ernest Womack, 25, of 3620 Nash Road; and Cory Trent Bullard, 23, of 1182 Lee Stokes Road.
When police arrived, they found three bottles at the scene, two without a label, Interim Columbus Police Chief Selvain McQueen said. One of the bottles contained urine, McQueen said, and the bottles belonged to Ivy Womack.
Ivy Womack was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
According to McQueen, 50 grams of Tramadol pain killer was found in one of the bottles.
“That is a level three narcotic,” McQueen said.
The maximum penalty for possession of a controlled substance is up to a $1,000 fine and one year in jail, McQueen said.
