MONTGOMERY, Ala. – A state appeals court says a man isn”t due any money after claiming he found a human tooth in the crust of a piece of KFC fried chicken in Montgomery.
Joel Gunn and his wife filed suit in 2009 contending he got sick after discovering the object in a piece of KFC chicken he took to work for lunch. Gunn didn”t take a bite, but the suit says he suffered anyway.
A circuit court threw out the lawsuit, and the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals agreed in a decision released Friday. It says neither Gunn nor his wife proved any harm.
Gunn claimed he missed three days of work and didn”t feel right for even longer. He says he suffered nausea, achiness and vertigo and was stressed for weeks.
