An 87-year-old man with Alzheimer”s remained missing Friday afternoon, nearly half a week after he wandered from his son”s Columbus home.
Alfred Priess, who recently moved from California to Columbus, was reported missing shortly before 11 a.m. Wednesday from his son”s Plymouth Road house.
His caretaker left him briefly in the care of his grandson while she ran an errand. When she left, Priess was last seen sleeping in bed with his cane nearby. When she returned, the cane was on the porch and he was gone.
Priess is white and about 5 feet, 5 inches tall. He was last seen wearing black or dark blue pants, a red sweatshirt and a black Harley Davidson cap.
