A 17-year-old and two juveniles who allegedly stole eight weapons from a home Monday have been arrested thanks to a Crime Stoppers tip.
Letavis Jatun Murry, of 1513 Washington Ave., and two juveniles broke into a home near Murray”s house at about 4:41 p.m. by breaking a kitchen window, according to police.
The suspects allegedly took the homeowner”s four shotguns, two rifles and two pistols and hid them in different locations.
After investigators canvassed the surrounding area Tuesday, an anonymous person phoned in a tip that led to the arrest of the suspects and recovery of the stolen weapons.
Murray, who was arrested at 1501 Main St., is in jail now on a $1,000 bond for a charge of burglary of a dwelling.

Columbus Police Department
· Corey Samuel Frost, 21, of 5771 Cal-Kolola Road in Caledonia, was arrested on March 23 at 9:35 a.m. at his residence, on a charge of aggravated assault with a weapon or other means to produce death. Bond was set at $2,500. Frost was arrested again on March 26 on misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana in a vehicle, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and driving under the influence.
· Amanda Ellen O”Callaghan, 40, of 4089 Highway 45 S., was arrested Monday at 3:30 p.m. at 136 Gaylane Drive on a charge of grand larceny of more than $500. Bond was set at $2,500.
Lowndes County Sheriff”s Office
· Beverly Ann Callicott, 47, of 9918 Wolf Road, was arrested Monday at 2:30 p.m. at her residence on three charges of uttering forgery. Bond is set at $20,000 for the first count and $2,500 each for each additional count.
· Johnny Wayne Wright, 51, of 3561 Highway 12 E. in Steens, was arrested on March 24 at 9 a.m. at the sheriff”s office, on a charge of embezzlement from Weyerhaeuser. Bond was set at $5,000.
