Three of four Columbus Municipal School District laptops reported missing were actually out for repairs.
CMSD reported four older-model Lanova Thinkpads and a desktop printer missing when they were unaccounted for while taking inventory at Hunt Intermediate School, during the move to the new Columbus Middle School on Highway 373.
Since then three of the laptops were found at the district”s information technology department.
“The laptops were sent there for upgrading,” Janet Lewis, CMSD public information officer, said in a statement.
