The community can enjoy free health screenings and receive helpful information on holistic health ranging from nutrition and counseling to cancer and pregnancy at Mississippi University for Women”s Annual Community Health Fair on Wednesday, Feb. 23.
More than 50 wellness, health promotion and education representatives are expected to attend this event, which is open to the public free of charge. The health fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Pohl Gymnasium.
Representatives from organizations including North Mississippi Medical Center- Community Health, Baptist Memorial Hospital, MUW”s nursing and speech pathology departments, Heart to Heart Hospice and Columbus East Lions will have booths and offer information and screenings.
