msublog

MISSISSIPPI STATE (13-2, 1-1 SEC) AT FLORIDA (11-4, 3-0 SEC)

BROADCAST INFO: 6 p.m. on the SEC Network with Roy Philpott and Brooke Weisbrod, plus the MSU Radio Network with Neil Price and Richard Williams.

FLORIDA's LAST 5: W 72-63 vs. James Madison, W 75-60 vs. Incarnate Word, W 81-74 vs. Vanderbilt, W 83-66 at Texas A&M, W 77-75 vs. Missouri.

MSU's LAST 5: W 64-48 vs. Little Rock, W 70-64 vs. Southern Miss (neutral), W 109-81 vs. North Florida, W 78-75 vs. Arkansas, L 64-58 at Ole Miss.

FLORIDA's RESUMÉ: The most important thing here is that Florida got the Cincinnati team that more or less wrecked MSU, faced them on a neutral floor and beat them. Florida also beat Gonzaga in double overtime on a neutral floor and challenged itself by going down to the wire with Duke and Clemson. The Gators also contributed to Texas A&M's complete destruction in the last two weeks and stole a win from Missouri on the road, so this Gators team is almost guaranteed to be Tournament bound.
