Kayla Nicole Leist and Chase Scott Labrato were united in marriage April 16, 2011, at 5 p.m. at Oak Hollow Farm in Fairhope, Ala., with the Rev. Bill McMurray officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Leist of Hattiesburg. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nichols of Florence, Ala., and Mr. George Leist and the late Mrs. Corlea Leist of Dawla, Ga. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an ivory satin Allure Bridals Collection gown, with a fit and flare silhouette constructed from satin and laser cut lace. It featured cap sleeves and a V-shaped neckline accentuated with a Swarovski flower. Attending the bride as maid of honor was Lennis Waites of Talladega, Ala. Bridesmaids were Jessica Autrey of Columbus; Ali McDonald of Mobile Ala.; Hailey Lann of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; Stacey Puckett of Starkville; Katie Kirby of Vestavia Hills, Ala.; and Juliana Kirby of Vestavia Hills. Attendants wore long, sleeveless chiffon gowns in light blue, with an ivory waistband, square neckline and shirred top and waist. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Labrato Jr. of Fairhope. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Labrato Sr. of Elberta, Ala. and the late Capt. and Mrs. Porter Scott. The groom’s brother, Blake Labrato of Birmingham, Ala., served as best man. Groomsmen were Adam Labrato, brother of the groom, of Fairhope; Joseph Leist, brother of the bride, of Hattiesburg; George Noonan III of Nashville, Tenn.; Jonathan Lyons of D’Iberville; Chris Hawk of New York; David Dotson of Birmingham; Michael Benson of Tuscaloosa; and Ryne Frigel of Foley, Ala. Kayla is a registered nurse at UAB Medical–West in Bessemer, Ala. Chase is assistant to the vice president of purchasing for American Family Care in Birmingham. The couple resides in Birmingham.
