Mr. and Mrs. Edward Tucker Jr. of Columbus celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 28, 2009. They were married Oct. 28, 1959, in Columbus. Mr. Tucker retired from Fuqua’s Grocery Store and Mrs. Tucker currently works for the United Way. Mrs. Tucker is the former Frances Manning. The Tuckers have six children, Derrick, Joyce, Edward Jr., Alicia, Roderick and the late Jacquelyn Renee Tucker Palmer; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
