Don”t be surprised to see a group of special visitors in Columbus. The Bed and Breakfast Association of Mississippi is holding their annual meeting in the Friendly City today and Monday.
Sunday afternoon, Association members will tour the Tennessee Williams Home Museum and Welcome Center and take a double-decker bus tour of historic Columbus, compliments of the Columbus-Lowndes Convention and Visitors Bureau and Amzi Love Home and Bed and Breakfast.
On Monday, local bed and breakfast owners of Amzi Love, the Cartney-Hunt House, Euro-Suites and The Painted Lady will host the association meeting at Le Gourmet on Main Street. Members will be treated to a tour of select local sites, as well as lunch at The Back Door Restaurant.
The annual gathering is for the purpose of electing officers, conducting necessary business and discussing the state”s tourism and bed and breakfast industry.
