Applicants must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or qualifying federal entity to apply for a grant. To be considered, organizations must have a program that addresses critical community needs and have measureable objectives to demonstrate impact. Details on grant eligibility, guidelines and restrictions are available at ipgiving.com.
Application process
An eligible nonprofit organization with a program in an area that the foundation supports must apply online by visiting ipgiving.com and clicking on “Apply for a Grant.” Applications will be routed to the local IP facility and must be completed in its entirety to be considered. The International Paper Foundation is the philanthropic arm of International Paper and is one of the ways the company strives to reach a company vision to be among the most successful, sustainable and responsible companies in the world. Since its inception in 1952, the Foundation has provided millions in grants to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations to help meet critical needs in the communities where International Paper employees live and work.
