Christopher Herring of Starkville was among 129 students recently awarded the Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He graduated Beta Sigma Kappa, a designation for students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, and was inducted as a member of the Gold Key Honorary Optometric Society.
Herring is the son of Tammye and Clyde Herring of Starkville, and husband of Danley Herring. He is a graduate of Mississppi State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting.
