Veterans Parade — A Veterans Parade beginning at 10 a.m. at the Columbus Municipal Complex makes its way down Main Street to the Lowndes County Courthouse for a ceremony and laying of the wreath at 11 a.m. Line-up begins at 9 a.m.
Sacred Harp Singing – The Columbus Arts Council presents the first Columbus Memorial Sacred Harp Singing from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Rosenzweig Arts Center, 501 Main St. Participate in this special day that includes Sacred Harp (shape note) history and instruction, group singing, fellowship and potluck lunch.
