The Hitching Lot Farmers” Market Advisory Board and Main Street Columbus announce the 2009 Hitching Lot Holiday Market. The second annual event will be held the Saturday before Thanksgiving, on Nov. 21, from 7-10 a.m.
All local artists and growers are encouraged to participate. As always, the market is open to the public and will showcase the best of local art, local produce, live music, children”s activities and much more.
The regular Farmers” Market season will end Oct. 31, but this one special event will allow market-goers to enjoy locally-grown and locally-crafted items just in time for Thanksgiving.
The same rules in place for the regular Farmers” Market season apply for the Holiday Market. All produce, products and art must be locally grown, made or “conjured up.” Items must be sold by the grower or artist who produced them.
To ensure a quality event, the Farmers” Market committee reserves the right to refuse any item that does not meet or follow set guidelines. A complete list of guidelines can be found at www.hitchinglotfarmersmarket.com
