Celia Cook Ford of Columbus has been appointed to the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries Foundation Board of Trustees for the 2013-2014 year.
She is a member of the Junior Auxiliary of Columbus where she was formerly president, parliamentarian/provisional trainer and recording secretary. On the national level, she served on the NAJA Board of Directors as a member of the Education Commitee, as well as Education Chairman.
Ford has served at First United Methodist Church as chairman of the Children’s Council and Youth Council. She has served as Circle Leader of Serendipity Circle for several years and is an active Sanctuary Choir member and soloist.
Ford has served as an active volunteer at Heritage Academy since 1997 and as a member and officer for the Delta Gamma House Corporation Board at Mississippi Delta Gamma Alumnae Association. She has served on the Columbus Emmaus Board of Directors and is the current treasurer of the North Mississippi Chrysalis Board of Directors.
Ford is a graduate of Mississippi State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in math education.
Ford is married to Dr. Norman Ford, and they have two children, Madison and Mary Dade.
