The largest outdoor theater in West Alabama will markedly increase entertainment options for Miss.-Ala. music fans.
Located on the banks of the Black Warrior River, the new Tuscaloosa Amphitheater is located at 2710 Jack Warner Parkway, only minutes away from the University of Alabama and within a 50-90-minute drive for Golden Triangle cities.
The 7,470-seat venue opens April 1 with a concert by roots music darlings The Avett Brothers, with special guest Band of Horses. The following day, Patti LaBelle and The O”Jays anchor the debut weekend. Tickets went on sale Saturday.
The spring roster of headline acts continues with Sugarland, with Little Big Town and Matt Nathanson, performing April 15 and Kenny Chesney, with Uncle Kracker, May 25.
Tickets for amphitheater events are available at www.tuscaloosaamphitheater.com and www.ticketmaster.com, or can be charged by phone at 800-745-3000.
The amphitheater complex also offers options for business meetings and social gatherings. Visit www.tuscaloosaamphitheater.com to see photos and renderings of the new venue.
